Mileridge is contracted by EUROCONTROL to provide certain
maintenance and support services to DQTS and is granted the right to
sub-licence DQTS to end-users.
EUROCONTROL, due to budgetary restrictions and having to prioritize
its projects, is no longer in a position to continue DQTS Support.
This means that any support of the tool will cease with effect from
31 May 2010.
Following 31 May 2010, licence holders will be entitled to continue
to use DQTS for an indefinite period, in accordance with the licence
agreement in place and subject to the following:
a)
Neither Mileridge, EUROCONTROL nor any third party will provide
any support or maintenance support services;
b)
Neither Mileridge nor EUROCONTROL will give any warranties or
guarantees;
c)
DQTS is used on a strictly “as is” basis;
d)
DQTS may not, under any circumstances, be used for any safety
critical decisions;
e)
DQTS may not be further sublicensed or made available to third
parties.
Before support is terminated, it is intended that one further DQTS
version is released which fixes some minor issues which have been
identified with version 4.05. However, no further enhancements will
be made after this release.
Licence holders have received a letter containing this information.
A copy should be signed and returned to the Help Desk by 31st
May 2010. If the letter is not received by the Help Desk, the
licence shall be deemed terminated and the licence holder shall
refrain from any further use of DQTS.
If a licence holder has not yet activated his/her licence, it is
recommended that they contact the Help Desk (helpdesk@dqts.net)
to do so and to allow the maximum amount of time to consult the Help
Desk support, should this be required.
For those interested, DQTS may be obtained until 31st May
2010 and the above conditions apply. For more information, please
contact the Help Desk (helpdesk@dqts.net).
